Riders 2025- 2026 Membership Award Contest

The purpose of this contest is to encourage everyone to sign up NEW Legion Family members and to help support the Department of Indiana, American Legion Boys State program, and the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State program. Two winners will be announced on Saturday, January 11, 2026 based on the highest points accumulated using the point values listed below:
Sign-up a NEW American Legion, Auxiliary or SAL member = 1 point
Sign-up a NEW American Legion Riders member = 1/2 point
Get your Riders Chapter to sign up and sponsor a Boys/Girls State candidate = 5 points
Get your Riders Chapter to sign up and sponsor a Girls State candidate = 5 points
The winners will be included in the American Legion, Department of Indiana, Lincoln Pilgrimage taking place in Springfield, Illinois February 11th & 12th, 2026. There you will be recognized for your efforts and receive your award. Travel plans and expenses will be covered by the Department of Indiana, American Legion Riders.
Rules and conditions:
1) This year's contest will begin on July 12th, 2025, and will end on January 8th, 2026, just before Mid-Winter Conference.
2) Any American Legion Rider, The Department of Indiana, in good standing, may apply for this award.
3) This award is NOT transferable if the winner/s selected are not able to attend.
4) Applicants for this award must complete a submission form to be emailed to: alrfinanceofficer@gmail.com.
