Hoosier Legionnaire is going Digital

  • Jul 12, 2023
  • 2 min read

In our commitment to keeping up with the rapidly changing digital landscape, we are thrilled to introduce the new digital Hoosier Legionnaire—a user-friendly platform designed to make your Legionnaire reading more convenient and accessible than ever before. Starting with the 4th Quarter 2023 Fall issue in September, you will no longer receive a physical copy of the Hoosier in your postal mailbox. If we have your email on file, it will begin to arrive in your email inbox. To ensure you receive your email copy you can subscribe on the Department website footer, otherwise you can find your issue on at www.indianalegion.org/hoosierlegionnaire.

By embracing the digital Hoosier Legionnaire, you will gain numerous benefits. The digital platform allows you to access the latest issues anytime, anywhere, using your preferred device—a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You'll have the power to zoom in and easily search for specific content, making it easier than ever to find the information that matters most to you.

We are aware that some of you may have concerns about the transition from print to digital, but rest assured, we are here to guide you every step of the way. When the conversion is final on September 1, 2023, the Department will mail postcards directly to your doorstep, providing you with clear instructions on how to access and navigate the digital Hoosier Legionnaire. Our dedicated staff will also be available to assist you with any questions or technical difficulties you may encounter. After four issues, the post card reminders will stop.

We are confident that the digital Hoosier Legionnaire will revolutionize the way you engage with our organization's news and updates. Embracing this change not only brings convenience and accessibility but also helps us adapt to the evolving needs of our members.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to The American Legion, Department of Indiana. We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to embarking on this digital journey together. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team.

This was an excellent overview of the transition to a digital format and what it means for members and readers. You explained the benefits clearly, especially how accessibility and convenience can help keep the community more connected. It’s encouraging to see organizations embracing technology while preserving their history and purpose. The way you presented the information made the changes easy to understand. I recently came across a similar discussion on a review blog connected to https://samedaydiplomas.com/, which also explored how moving to digital platforms can expand reach while maintaining credibility. This is a meaningful step forward, and I appreciate you taking the time to explain it so thoroughly.
