Funkhouser won the Department of Indiana Legion Baseball Tournament hosted by Legion Post 72 in Crawfordsville, IN. They defeated the runner-up, Rockport, in a on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
Due to scheduling conflicts, Rockport will represent Indiana the Great Lakes Regionals that will start Wednesday, August 6, and go thru Sunday, August 10 in Carol Stream, Illinois.
Whoever wins the Regional will go on to the American Legion 96th World Series that will start on Thursday, August 14, and go thru Tuesday, August 19 in Shelby, North Carolina.
