The Indiana American Legion is excited to announce that the legendary The Bob & Tom Show will be broadcasting live from The American Legion “Be The One” truck Friday, May 22 during Carb Day festivities at the Indianapolis 500.
As thousands of race fans gather at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for one of Indiana’s biggest traditions, The American Legion will be helping spread awareness about the organization’s “Be The One” mission, which encourages veterans, service members, and their families to reach out for help when facing mental health challenges.
Be sure to tune in Friday morning 6:00 - 10:00 A.M. as Department Commander Ron Patterson and Membership Chair J.D. Burnette Jr. are scheduled to join the broadcast to talk about The American Legion’s work across Indiana, support for veterans, and the importance of the Be The One initiative.
If you’re attending Carb Day, stop by the Be The One truck and say hello while celebrating race weekend with fellow Hoosiers and Legion Family members.

This blend of live radio, a significant cause, and a high-energy event like Carb Day makes for a truly dynamic outreach effort. It makes you think about how powerfully such stories of community engagement could be visualized, perhaps even through unique character designs created with an Anime AI Generator.
