Close of Books 2024: What You Need to Know

The 2024 Close of Books will be a three-day event at Department Headquarters. It will go from Friday, June 7 thru Sunday, June 9 and each day will serve a different purpose.

Friday, June 7: At Risk Veterans Day

Description: This day will be for veterans and their families that need some help. We will make available food, haircuts, dental care and care packages for no-cost to the veterans. Department service officers will be available.

Event Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Food Hours: 11 a.m - 2 p.m.

Saturday, June 8: Family Day

Description: This day will be for the community. Veteran owned food trucks will sell food. A bounce house and various games will be there for the family to enjoy. Military vehicles will be on display. Department service officers will be available this day as well.

Event Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Food Hours: 11 a.m - 2 p.m.

Sunday, June 9: Close of Books

Description: This day will be the normal Close of Books.

Event Hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
