Volunteers will each earn $100! $50 will be given to the volunteer's Post, Unit, Squadron or Chapter, and $50 will be given to the Department Commander's Project, iVETS. 100 volunteers would earn a check for $10,000 for a single day! About IVETS, Commander's ProjectThe Indiana Veterans Emergency Transition System is the Hoosier Legion's newest initiative to support our veterans.
100% of donations to IVETS is granted to veterans right here in Indiana. This program was developed to fill a gap in the relief offered by the Indiana Legion to our veterans. Until now, those veterans requesting aid were required to have children in the home. IVETS aid is granted to all veterans, regardless of family. |
